About Olivia

Olivia grew up in the California Bay Area, attended Oberlin College for English literature and studio art, and now lives and works in New York. She works with marionettes, rod, and hand puppets, both professionally and personally.

Olivia is inspired by people; their faces, figures, expressions, and gestures. She uses fluid mediums like oil paint, oil pastels, and oil based pens to abstract notions of standard beauty and create her own world of ambiguous characters.
